Who we are
BulletMichael Fischer, Executive Director

Michael received his Masters Degree in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University in 1999. He went on to develop businesses that were later sold off to Fortune 500 organizations; from manufacturing ladies hand bags, to software development, to consumable goods, to real estate, he has conquered all different arenas. Throughout his life he has always had a soft spot to help others and constantly is involved in a multitude of non-profit organizations.

Michael currently manufactures and distributes Awareness vending machines through his company Rocket Vending, Inc. All of his machines are proudly made in the United States and he is based out of Coconut Creek, FL. His companies proudly donate to following amazing charities: Florida Breast Cancer Coalitions and Research Foundation, Susan G. Komen for the cure, Breast Cancer Research Foundation, American Cancer Society Research Foundation, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Gilda's Club, Avon Walk for Breast Cancer, Broward Health Foundation, Paralyzed Veterans of America, The National Memorial for America's Disabled Veterans, Fisher House Foundation, Inc, Treats for Soldiers, Inc., Blinded Veterans Association, and National Veterans Service Fund, Inc.

Drops of Hope was created in 2006, when Michael decided to combine his entrepreneurial and philanthropic skills to start a free luxury transportation service for pediatric cancer patients to keep their minds off the treatments and on the excitement of riding in a fun filled interactive game mobile.

BulletKimberly Gladsden, Community Outreach Director

Kimberly received her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Florida in 1999. She then continued on at UF to earn her Master's and Specialist Degree in School Guidance and Counseling and Mental Health Counseling in 2001.

She began her career working for 5 years as a certified Elementary School Guidance Counselor for Broward County Public Schools and also served as a Volunteer Coordinator. She then went on to start her own counseling/consulting business specializing in small group guidance for children, parent and child workshops, and one-on-one parent consultation. Coping with the loss of her aunt to Melanoma, Kimberly became a founding board member of Gilda's Club South Florida Young Leadership Council, where she works to educate other young South Floridians about the wonderful opportunities that Gilda's Club offers and inspire them to become involved.

Kimberly joined Drops of Hope as Director of Community Outreach in 2009. She met Michael through their involvement with Gilda's Club; their shared passion to help those living with cancer made for a perfect team.
